My wife and I stopped by Chūka Soba Kihachi for lunch and really enjoyed the experience. The small wooden shop has a warm, nostalgic atmosphere, with an open kitchen where the chefs prepare each bowl right in front of you. We both ordered the Ajitama Chūka Soba, featuring a fragrant niboshi-shoyu broth, tender chashu, marinated egg, and springy noodles. The flavors were balanced—rich yet clean—and the presentation was simple but elegant. Service was efficient, and ordering by ticket machine was easy. A perfect spot for classic Tokyo-style ramen done with precision and care.
Ramen was excellent. The waiter explained me how everything works. The food was very tasty, price was good and it was quickly prepared. Beware that they only take cash. 10/10
The sister shop of the immensely famous ramen shop Ginza Hachigo This ramen shop is most famous for its clear broth tsukemen offering two types of noodles of varying thickness; the noodles are smooth and go well with the clear broth But the chasiu is somewhat lackluster in contrast
